New SEC «DEPO`t center» in Cherkasy – is opened!
On June 18th 2016 new shopping and entertainment center «DEPO`t center» began its work in Cherkasy, at the address: Shevchenko avenue 385. Thousands of Cherkasy citizens gathered near festive scene, from which the emcee greeted guests and was telling about new SEC peculiarities. Music, invitations, air balloons, smiles and genuine interest of citizens to the object that will work in Cherkasy under the moto «Goods and entertainment for the whole family!», became the visiting card of this day. An hour before the «DEPO`t center» opening, event organizers hold exclusive excursion around the new SEC for facility management and city leaders. Then new SEC management – Svetlana Trofimova, Sergei Fesenko, Valery Makovetskyi and Cherkasy city mayor Anatoly Bondarenko ceremoniously cut the ribbon.
- Despite difficulties, we opened and will do our best in order «DEPO`t center» to be the zest of our city, – said Svetlana Trofimova, Cherkasy investor of new «DEPO`t center», leader of «Partner» Managing company. This is SEC of European format with rich and various goods` and services` assortment, besides we`ll proceed with socially responsible business development strategy.
- New SEC is important for the city as employer, fills the budget and helps to solve important social questions, – added Sergei Fesenko, who is also SEC investor.
- We put all the energy, knowledge and experience in order Cherkasy citizens liked new «DEPO`t center», – noted Valery Makovetsky, one of «Foxtrot» Group of Companies, being developing DEPO`t brand, leaders. – Cherkasy DEPO`t is created to the joy of every family, and namely in this format starting from 2009 work DEPO`t centers in Chernovtsy, Lubny and Nikolaev.

Thousands of guests came that day to the supermarket of electronics «Foxtrot» (general area 1072 sq.m.), grocery hypermarket «Delicate plus» (5760 sq.m.), children's supermarket «Chudo ostrov» (900 sq.m.). In general, 50 stores started their work on three floors of the new SEC, among them – watch store «Secunda», «SPORT CITY» (range of sport shops, opened for the first time in Cherkasy), Milavitsa, Vels, capital jewelry factory (CJF), «Kievstar», numerous shops of clothing and footwear. Among «DEPO`t center»`s tenants – range of sellers representing goods for kids and youth: specialized shops of child`s wear from «BARABULKA», «MODO», «Mama kupi».
For the convenience of visitors on the first floor started their work – pharmacy, dry cleaning, cozy coffee house. On the third floor – food zone with «Milk shake», «Burger ramen», and «Nashe cafe» (restaurants` chains – novelty for Cherkasy).
Child`s entertainment center «Fantasy Town» became peculiarity of new Cherkasy SEC. Its area is 1550 sq.m., young visitors can find there autodrome, 3-stored labyrinth, educational games, vending machines, cozy areas for family fests and specially designed for group events scene.
Near SEC you can find big parking for more than 200 car places for city center unloading from car traffic. «DEPO`t center» also took into account adopted in Cherkasy bicycle city program: there is big and creative bicycle parking near SEC entrance, promoting a healthy lifestyle. Every detail is thought out; there are even special bars for dogs, where you can leave your four-legged friend while making shopping.
On the day of SEC opening first visitors participated in funny quest «Big races in SEC», as well as in competitions, relay races, workshops. Festive mood was created by popular emcee, showman Andrew Burym Burym («Comedy club» resident, member of KVN team «Va-bank»). The fest culmination was concert of DEPO`t center special guest – popular group «TNMK».
Reference: total area of new SEC – 16 703 sq.m., and sales` one – 15369sq.m. Cherkasy DEPO`t center was built by DEPOT Development Group company. About 1000 specialists from different cities of Ukraine: Kiev, Nikolaev, Kharkov, Brovary, Dnepr, Cherkasy, – were involved into the work. Modern design-project of Cherkasy SEC was designed by UKB DEPOT DEVELOPMENT GROUP studio. Among peculiarities of new SEC building in Cherkasy are energy-efficient heating technology and insulation of facades, powerful own gas boiler room and transformer substation, that give the opportunity to implement the most difficult design-decisions of the tenants, sensor faucets toilets, LED lights etc.
