The newspaper "Day" photo exhibition called "Family album of Ukraine"

The photo exhibition by newspaper "Day" will be held in the Kiev art gallery "Lavra" from 5 to 13 November «Foxtrot» is a partner of the art photography contest already in sixth time. 

This year the "Day" exhibition is the eighteenth one. It is symbolic because it's the "Day" 20th jubilee.  

For these 17 years it was held in 115 cities of Ukraine and 778 photographers received awards.

The symbol of the XVIII International Photo Contest "Day" is the wreath of flowers as a metaphor for family. "This wreath seems fragile at first. But everybody knows that you can only break a twig, and when they are intertwined together - they are indestructible, "- Anna Gavrilyuk explains meaning of a symbol painter and author And this year the "Day" got a magnificent "wreath" of pictures from all over the country. With more than 2,400 photographs editorial jury selected 350 best works of both professionals and amateurs. Among the nominations are "Ukrainian World", "Politics", "Pictures of history," "World Children's Eyes" (there are the authors under 18 years old), and "Water birds", supported by PO "Ukrainian Society of birds". The authors of the most impressive and metaphorical images will receive valuable prizes from partners at the opening of the photo exhibition . 

- Photography is an art transmission of ideas through the artist's photographic equipment, so it is logical to support best works of artistic by business - said General Director of Group of Companies "Foxtrot" Gennady Vykhodtsev. - We wish the team of associates to remain a leader in the information space of Ukraine, to be a real "vitamin" for the minds of the Ukrainian people.
