Appliances for victory: Foxtrot provided Ukrainians with goods free of charge by UAH 8 million
As of the end of April, the largest Ukrainian electronics retailer reported that as of the end of April, it had processed 650 requests for charity and issued equipment for UAH 8 million
The Foxtrot network has supported the country both in the rear and on the front line since the early days of the war. The operation of most of the shops was resumed, the assistance to the military and volunteers was provided, the delivery of humanitarian goods to the de-occupied regions was organized together with partners, and the Foxtrot "hundred" of the employees protects the state in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense.
Within two months, the assistance from Foxtrot was received by:
- 149 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine;
- 117 representatives of territorial defense;
- 59 public and charitable organizations;
- 33 hospitals and military infirmaries;
- 34 volunteers and voluntary organizations;
- 20 representatives of the National Police;
- 28 applicants of assistance from military administrations and city councils;
- 14 representatives of rescue services (SES of 10 regions and Kyiv), 14 employees of companies serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or volunteering.
– I thank my colleagues for the two-month marathon on organizing of charitable assistance, because they performed work in the headquarters of “Helping our people” in parallel with the job functions in the office or in the trading halls: they had been accepting requests for help in stores, selecting the assortment and finding kind words, drawing up the documents for the issuance or considering the delivery of goods from other cities, – CEO of Foxtrot, Oleksii Zozulia said. – All those who now work in the rear or serve in the army are approaching the victory of Ukraine and strengthening its independence.
He also thanked the equipment suppliers for their own charitable programs to help Ukrainians, which made possible the synergy of electronics retailers and vendors – Philips, Tefal, Moulinex, Rowenta, Krups, Gorienie, Indesit, BEKO, Altus, Hisense, Kivi, Sony, Indesit, Whirpool, Delonghi announced partial or full compensation of equipment issued by retailers of Ukraine to the defenders of Ukraine.
Also in April, Foxtrot Group of Companies, in cooperation with the Zakarpattia "Humanitarian Center of Mizhhirya", delivered several international humanitarian goods from abroad to the residents of our country. Food, medicines and household items with a total volume of 180 cubic meters (40 tons) with the help of Foxtrot were delivered from Spain. The cargo was sent to the residents of Trostianets, released from occupation in Sumy region, to the community of Dnipropetrovsk region, which receives families of Ukrainian immigrants from Donetsk region, to the Volunteer hundred “Dobrovolia” in Kyiv and to the village of Dmytrivka, Buchan district.
