Foxtrot entered the TOP-50 private investors of Ukraine

In 2.5 years, the omnichannel retailer of electronics and household appliances invested in 13 new and 13 renovated stores, relocated and expanded a new central warehouse, launched new services and ensured the energy independence of retail facilities

In difficult times, despite the great war, Ukrainian business continues to hold the economy. The editors of the NV magazine identified the 50 largest investor companies, which together invested more than UAH 224 billion in the economy of Ukraine in 2.5 years, including the retailer Foxtrot.

Foxtrot approached the start of 2022 with notable results and big plans, but the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022 put the retailer's plans on hold. The most important thing at that time was to save business and people, so all efforts were directed to that.

During 2022, the retailer had to close part of the stores, but later resumed their work and opened several new ones. In the first year since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russians, the company carried out a full or partial renovation of 8 retail outlets – in Lviv, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Boryspil and 3 stores in Kyiv.

In September 2022, Foxtrot launched a new warehouse with goods in the Kyiv region. And in October 2022-January 2023, the company organized uninterrupted operation of the network in conditions of temporary blackouts, investing UAH 4 million in energy independence.

2023 is the revival of the network and investment in customer service and innovation. Foxtrot focused on opening stores, stocking them and strengthening their digital presence. During the year, 8 stores were opened, separately in Vinnytsia (Megamall shopping center), Dnipro (Appolo shopping center), Boryspil (Aeromall shopping center), in the capital's Ocean Plaza shopping center and a renewed store in the Blockbuster Mall shopping center.

The company also focused on customer service and the introduction of innovative products: they modernized the mobile application, continued to expand the pool of contactless payment methods in stores, introduced Tap-to-phone payment, integrated digital checks into mobile banking, relaunched Trade-in – a service to replace the old equipment for a new one ("FoxyObmin"), as well as a service for the disposal of old equipment. Many innovations were introduced in the direction of customer delivery: in particular, they were the first to integrate the Uklon Delivery service – ultra-fast delivery in 1 hour.

In 2023, Foxtrot was the first among Ukrainian businesses to launch a sign language service for deaf people on Foxtrot.ua, which currently operates in 20 stores of the retailer.

At the beginning of 2024, Foxtrot announced plans to open 10 new and updated stores. During the year, new Foxtrots appeared in Chernihiv, Stryi, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, 2 stores in Dnipro, shops in Kherson, Kramatorsk, Slovyansk and Pokrovsk, Lviv and Kyiv, near the front, resumed operation. Currently, 124 Foxtrot stores operate in 67 cities of Ukraine. 100% of stores are energy-independent, which makes it possible to work without interruption during power outages.

Instead of the destroyed warehouse in Gostomel, the retailer opened a new central warehouse with an area of 28,000 square meters in the Kyiv region, relocating the existing warehouse to 22,000 square meters, which made it possible to increase the range of goods and speed up the movement of equipment from the supplier to the stores.

The company also continued work on improving customer service. In April, Foxtrot became a participant in the eRenovation housing reconstruction program. The FoxFan loyalty program has more than 14.3 million members in its ranks. The retailer also took care of helping animals from the frontline regions by updating the social project "F-support".

One of the most important investment projects of Foxtrot during these 2.5 years of war remains systematic assistance to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. From February 24, 2022 to today, the corporate headquarters of "The help our’s" has handed over almost 8,500 units of equipment worth UAH 40 million to combat units.
