"F-Support" goes to Zaporizhzhia region: over 700 animals are waiting
After successfully helping shelters for rescued animals in Sumy region, Foxtrot and Happy Paw are entering the final stage of the charity initiative in another front-line region. The project has already supported over 2,750 animals
In January, the fourth stage of the charity mission "F-Support for Indomitable Animals" started, which is confidently approaching its completion, leaving behind traces of good deeds. The organizers plan to help over 700 animals that are under the care of 5 shelters in Zaporizhzhia: "Ukhastyki-Pukhnastyki", "Dog Life", "Happy Tails", "Alf" and "Rozbuja svoe sertse".
Due to intensive hostilities, the situation in the region remains difficult: many animals find themselves without homes, and often without families. People are doing everything they can, and military personnel and volunteers, risking their own lives, save these defenseless creatures. But the number of animals in need of help is constantly growing.
“F-support is the help that shelters in front-line regions need most right now. This is a chance for thousands of animals who have been left homeless by the war to get the food and warmth they need so much. We are proud to be part of this initiative and are grateful to people for their trust and kind hearts. Each contribution to “F-support” is another saved fate, another tail that felt care,” emphasizes Oleg Nikolsky, marketing director of Foxtrot.
Thus, in early January 2025, the collection for tails in the Sumy region was completed. Thanks to the financial support of the retailer and all donors, more than 750 cats and dogs under the care of four shelters in Sumy, Konotop and Shostka received everything they needed - from food to medical care, namely:
- 1029 kg of food;
- 240 vaccines;
- 247 parasite treatments;
- 135 other vital medications and drugs;
- 210 bowls;
- 3 recirculators for disinfecting premises.
“The targeted focus of F-Support on helping shelters in a specific region allows us to more deeply analyze and understand their needs, and shelters, in turn, receive powerful support to focus on the evacuation and rehabilitation of animals that come to them from active combat zones,” notes Lyudmila Yenzheyevska, director of the Happy Paw Foundation.
Everyone can join the “F-Support for Unbreakable Animals” initiative here. All funds raised during the campaign period (from 04/30/2024 to 03/31/2025) will be used to purchase food, medicines, kennels, provide medical care, and meet other needs of these courageous tails.
