"Green" changes by joint efforts
On April 21, 2017 activists of the corporate program of the MC GCF "Green Office" planted decorative deciduous and ornamental flowering bushes at the main entrance to the office on Dorogozhitskaya, 1. "Green" changes were due to the 26th action to collection of waste paper, which employees conducted April 21 on the International Day of the Forest, and on the proceeds of the money as a result of this action - we bought the planting material for the greening of the office environment.
The corporate program "Green Office" started in 2009 on the initiative of the GCF Managing Company. During this time, 26 stocks were held of waste paper collection: 33 tons of 067 kg of paper products were collected and sent for processing! Thus, 321 trees were saved by common efforts from cutting down!
Therefore, after carrying out 26 actions to collect waste paper, the activists of the Green Office decided that there were not enough green and flowers on the territory near the office. And, having developed a project for the greening of the territory - it was implemented!
- Prior to the implementation, several project offers were developed for the gardening of the adjacent office area at Dorogozhitskaya, 1, and we gave an opportunity to the employees of the GCF Managing Company to vote for the best of them, "says the program curator, public relations specialist of GC" FOXTROT "Yaroslava Korolchuk. - According to the voting results, the option with boxwood evergreen was chosen. Also, the authors of the landscape project decided to add to the range of plants hydrangea paniculate and juniperus common. In general, we planted 31 bushes of boxwood, 2 bushes of hydrangeas and tree of juniper.
On the same day, students from the Institute of Journalism of the Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University, partners of the Green Office and neighbors of the central office of GCF conducted green works. Their program "Green Institute" is celebrating this year 7 years, so the students decided to plant 7 trees of Thuya western in the yard of the institute.
Both "green" actions - of employees of MC GCF and Institute of Journalism ended in photo session. How it was - see below:
