Tasty, lovely, spiritually: 6th charitable fair took place in Foxtrot Group of Companies

On May 30, the Kyiv-based headquarters of the Foxtrot Group of Companies hosted a charitable fair. It was initiated by employees of the Foxtrot. Household Appliances company as well as the Group.

The aim of the charitable fair was to raise funds for inmates of the Kyiv Specialized Board School №5 named after Y.Batiuk. The event took place on the occasion of the Children’s Day.

Teachers and instructors made up a list of the educational materials they need to teach visually impaired children. The list included work books, lab kits, collections and sets, fitness equipment and tactile Braille alphabet boards.

Employees of the Foxtrot Group of Companies and the brands it develops prepared home-made food, hand-made crafts and children’s books. There were several more participants of the charitable event – employees of the Giraffe coffee house (that finds itself on the ground floor of the Foxtrot office at Dorohozhychi) and two children’s book publishers – Mamino and Nebo Booklab Publishing that directed their proceeds or a part of them to the board school.

The amount of UAH 27 thousand has been raised. Volunteer employees of the Foxtrot Group of Companies will spend the money to buy the required items and give them to the board school for impaired-vision children on September 1.
