Two tickets for IEM Katowice 2020 will draw among Ukrainian fans

The Foxtrot network together with the Acer Predator brand provides an opportunity to be among the fans of one of the largest e-sports competitions – the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) in Poland.

From February 28 to 1st of March, the annual competition will bring together 16 teams from around the world at the Spodek cult arena in Katowice, including Ukraine, who will compete for $500,000 in prize money.

The official partner of ESL (an international e-sports organization) is the Euronics Group, a leading retail group of home appliance and electronics sellers, represented in 35 countries, including Ukraine. The only Ukrainian retailer that is part of the Euronics is the Foxtrot retail chain.

Following the successful sponsorship of ESL One Hamburg in October 2019, the Euronics Group expanded its collaboration in 2020 with ESL Intel Extreme Masters.

To enable Ukrainian fans to attend a tournament of such a high level, the representative of Acer Predator in Ukraine with the support of the Foxtrot will draw two tickets for the competition with payment for flights and hotel accommodation.

A buyer who has purchased an Acer Nitro or Predator gaming laptop on the Foxtrot network and registered for 2 tickets* will be able to go to Katowice.

“We are pleased to expand our partnership with the Euronics. For the first time the Ukrainian retailer, as a participant of the Euronics Group, reaches the level of international e-sports competitions. This gives buyers of the Foxtrot an additional advantage: not only to purchase quality goods, but also to get a chance to go to an exciting gaming tournament,” said Alexey Zozulya, CEO of Foxtrot.

Participation in this event also provides an opportunity to expand and demonstrate to customers a diverse and relevant assortment.

“The Intel Extreme Masters is one of our core areas. Therefore, the partnership between ESL and the the Euronics Group gives us the opportunity to demonstrate our common desire to provide high-quality services to our customers,” said Bernhard Mogk, SVP Global Sales & Business Development ESL.

As Acer acts as an exclusive IEM PC partner, its gaming brand Predator will be “fully integrated into all aspects” of upcoming events, including Predator monitors, which will be used in tournaments with Acer laptops located in analytic areas.

Sergey Shulga, Acer's marketing manager for Eastern Europe, also commented:

“Pursuing our mission to provide best-in-class gaming equipment, we are proud to join forces with ESL as the equipment supplier for such a prestigious e-sports event.”
