Sweet 13! FOXTROT Group of Companies published the results of the 2020’s progress

The UN Global Compact Business Sustainability Report has been marked at “active level” at the global network office in New York. The 13th report was presented by the FOXTROT Group of Companies in June-2021, providing the UN Global Compact with evidence of sustainable business development in 2020


General Director of the FOXTROT Group of Companies, Gennady Vykhodtsev noted in his opening remarks to the readers, that the year of the global pandemic was not easy for the brands that FOXTROT Group of Companies develops: “But this year we proved that social responsibility is our philosophy. Business showed wisdom and humanity, in response, we felt the loyalty of consumers; managers did not allow a massive layoff and closure of enterprises; employees were sympathetic to the change in the work format, and renters of commercial real estate received preferential terms from real estate management specialists during the lockdown.

The message that the report was made public appeared on the Global Compact website, and was also confirmed by an email from the UNGC office in New York. The GC Active reporting level means that the Global Compact recognizes the company as the one which strives to be the best corporate social responsibility reporter and systematically reports on a wide range of the company's best sustainability management practices.


The 2020 report contains 7 vectors in which the CSR strategy at the FOXTROT Group of Companies was implemented: responsibility to employees and their families, consumer protection, anti-corruption activities (business transparency), volunteering, environmental activity, educational projects (our own and stakeholders’s ones), charity. The report contains optimistic indicators the specialists’s of the State Department of Social Security in Ukraine preventive work. Specialists are assisted by the social project "School of Safety" (a 39% decrease in the number of fires due to children’s pranks with fire during the reporting period). Also the result in the introduction of electronic fiscal receipts in Foxtrot is positive too, the number of which reached 1 million (or 36.7% of the total number of fiscal receipts issued during 5 months of the reform implementation).


“It was in this year that we began the implementation of electronic fiscal receipts, confirming our loyalty to the values of equality in doing business and transparency in economic activity,” says Valery Makovetsky, Chairman of the Supervisory Board in Foxtrot. The report confirmed that the employees of FOXTROT Group of companies have also succeeded in environmental activism: they have successfully carried out the second corporate rating "Only forward-looking work here" and loudly celebrated the 10th anniversary of the student eco-project "Green Institute of Journalism" together with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Institute of Journalism by holding an online eco-auction EkoInstitut and the online educational campaign “10 Questions for the 10th Anniversary of the Green Institute of Journalism”.
