Gennadii Vykhodtsev about 10-year partnership with the photo contest “The Day”
On January 21, the XXV International Photo Contest "The Day" solemnly presented several hundred of the best photographs of Ukrainian professionals and amateurs in the capital's Ukrainian House. The final exposition in the center of Kyiv presented photographs of the traditional headings of the photo contest - "Politics", "Ukrainian world", "Photos with history", " World through the children’s eyes"
The competition jury chose the best out of several thousand submitted photographs, and the brightest photographs were awarded. The brand "Foxtrot" for the 10th time in the 25-year history of the photo contest of the newspaper "The Day" named its winner. Every year, the company, founded by Gennadii Vykhodtsev and Valery Makovetsky, congrats professional or amateur photographers whose work is in tune with the brand's values. In 2022, Foxtrot's choice was a heartbreaking photo of Alexander Klymenko from the "The war continues" series.
In the photo, the defender of Ukraine is taking care of two puppies together in trench on the front line of defense in the east. The work of the photographer convinces that in difficult times, kindness, tolerance, humanity – is the key to our victory and independence of Ukraine - explained their choice in Foxtrot.
– 10 years of business partnership with the photo exhibition "Day" convince of the importance of supporting the organizers. Photography strengthens human values, - says co-founder of Foxtrot Gennadii Vykhodtsev. – The photo gallery from The Day not only creates the visual history of Ukraine, which already convinces us of the urgency of supporting the organizers of the photo exhibition. Every photo work here promotes goodness, mercy, responsibility of the strong for the weak, teaches love for Ukraine, forms the viewer's bright feelings and qualities. Love and faith are felt in every photo here. As a result, the belief grows stronger: it is only necessary to hold on own values and support each other tight, and this will be the key to our victory and independence of Ukraine.
