Forum for Trade Workers' Day - with the participation of our specialists
On the occasion of the professional holiday of Trade Workers' Day the forum "Transformation of the Trade Sphere: Overcoming Challenges and Development" was held at the Kyiv University of Trade and Economics. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Production and Consumer Service, the Kyiv City State Administration, trade enterprises, professional associations, public organizations and the university. Among the participants were experts from the "FOXTROT" Group of Companies
The topic of the first panel of the forum was called "Trade – a driver of the development of the country's economy." This part of the forum was attended by Vasyl Hryb, head of the sales technical support department of the Foxtrot brand, with the case study "Retail in wartime: a course for digitization as a course for survival." Vasyl spoke about the results of the project on the implementation of an electronic check – software PRO, which is sent to the buyer in the form of a message on digital media.
"Since the beginning of the project, we have transferred 100% of all PROs to PROs, issued 7 million checks, and our customers have convinced themselves that it is safe and reliable. In the first six months, we did not litter the environment with waste in the form of 137 km of cash register tape, – Vasyl Hryb told the participants of the forum. – Didgital checks turned out to be a real find during the blackout last fall-winter. Our retail colleagues issued receipts even when the lights were out, sending them to customers using the mobile Internet, and issuing goods from shelters and warehouses. And then we decided to move further and with partners Monobank and Sportbank launched an initiative to display checks in their applications. It's easy to find your check in the banking app through your transaction history."
The organizers called Vasyl Hryb's speech the brightest in this panel, and they wished the vixen Foxy, who smiled from every slide, to continue to charge people with positivity.
In the work of the second panel of the forum "Training of specialists of the new generation for the field of trade: synergy of educational innovations and business", the director of the Educational and Scientific Center for Business Simulation of DTEU, Oksana Trubey, presented examples of the application of innovative technologies and the interaction of business structures and the university.
