Foxtrot continues to expand its inclusive initiatives

In the fall of 2024, the retailer introduced a new solution for hearing-impaired customers – DEAF ID in the FoxFan loyalty program

This became possible thanks to cooperation with the public organization "Social Unity" Public Movement, which initiated the creation of an electronic ID card for deaf people in the "Perekladach ZhM" mobile application.

DEAF ID helps to confirm the status of a deaf or hard of hearing person, securely stores personal data, greatly simplifies communication, making the shopping process more accessible for people with hearing impairment. The buyer just needs to show the DEAF ID QR code in the mobile application to receive all the benefits of the loyalty program, without the need to provide additional documents.

In addition, the company connected the Connect PRO service to support customers with hearing impairment in 20 stores and the Connect WEB online widget on the Foxtrot website. The 👂"Vushko" web widget provides simultaneous communication with a contact center operator and a sign language translator, which allows consultations without communication barriers.
